“Goodnight Sweet Boy” is a song I recorded for the Septimus Orion project. The subject of the song is a real-life news event.
Septimus Orion is a multimedia project that I produced as a meta-statement about the complexity of our culture and society. The songs are mixed over space sounds recorded by the Voyager Spacecraft and the Plasma Wave Telescope at the University of Iowa. Below are tracks from the first CD, called “CAGED”. It includes two versions of the song “Rush Rush” originally performed by Debbie Harry. This release includes a short story by Clifford Meth titled “Queers”, which is, to my knowledge, the first audiobook with a soundtrack of music and sound effects.
