The Elements
I updated Tom Lehrer’s “The Elements” song to the present state of the Periodic Table, which now contains 118 elements. After recording the song in the studio, where I sang the lyrics, I animated it using Toonly. I saw a need to make a version of the song that was entertaining in the spirit of the original version.
I created a story of someone on a journey or quest that involved the Periodic Table of the Elements.

Financial Literacy
I produced a short video on financial literacy for NVE bank. Their concern was for student loan borrowers who might not understand the nature of their financial obligation to the lender. I voiced the male character, Alan. It was very well received and I won an award for it.

A Documentary
The Vought House is a farm house that was built in 1759. My task was to help with the effort to raise money for its restoration. To that end, I produced a documentary on the history of the house and those involved in the effort to preserve it. I provided the voiceover. The documentary has been used to arouse interest in the project, helping to bring groups to the house for fundraising activities. I’ve included a link here to the trailer for the movie.

Production
My work in audio and video production has been a path toward Instructional Design and eLearning. Creating a learning experience is a journey through phases of media production. Project management, experience mapping, storyboarding, asset creation and research are tasks and processes common to both.
